REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2023-06010272, 1400 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 8:26 p.m. on June 1, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the unknown male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise and exited the store without payment during which an employee confronted him. The suspect pushed the employee and fled the scene on foot, dropping some of the merchandise which was recovered on scene. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a Black male in his 30s wearing a bucket hat, blue face mask, white tank top and black pants. The investigation is ongoing.
