REPORTS
BRANDISHING, 2023-11300059, S. Walter Reed Drive at S. Four Mile Run Drive. At approximately 7:43 a.m. on November 30, police were dispatched to the report of a brandishing. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect and male victim were each driving in the area when they became involved in a verbal dispute, during which the suspect allegedly brandished a firearm before fleeing the scene. Officers canvassed the area for the suspect and located and detained him in the 3100 block of Columbia Pike. The victim responded to the Office of the Magistrate, completed a criminal complaint and a warrant for Brandishing was issued and served on Alexander Holder Jr., 20, of Alexandria, Va. During the course of the investigation, officers recovered a firearm and a summons for Carrying a Concealed Weapon was issued to the suspect.
ASSAULT BY MOB, 2023-11300182, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 3:23 p.m. on November 30, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 1:10 p.m. the female victim was approached by three juvenile female suspects who asked to use her cell phone. When the victim declined, the suspects assaulted her and attempted to steal money from her before fleeing the scene. The victim was evaluated by medics for non-life threatening injuries. Suspect One is described as a juvenile Black female, approximately 13-17 years old with orange hair, Suspect Two is described as a juvenile Black female, approximately 13-17 years old with red hair and Suspect Three is described as a juvenile Black female, approximately 13-17 years old wearing a bonnet. The investigation is ongoing.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING (late), 2023-11290155, 1300 block of S. Dinwiddie Street. At approximately 1:38 p.m. on November 29, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. The preliminary investigation indicates the juvenile female victim was approached and assaulted by the juvenile female suspect, whom she is involved in an ongoing dispute with. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and self-reported to an area hospital at a later time. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY (late), 2023-11300098, 1000 block of N. Fillmore Street. At approximately 10:45 a.m. on November 30, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 11:30 p.m. on November 29, the suspect forced entry into the closed business before leaving the scene on foot. No items were reported stolen. The unknown suspect is described as approximately 5’8”-6’0”, 155-185 pounds wearing all black clothing and a puffy jacket. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY (late), 2023-11300208, 3000 block of 10th Street N. At approximately 5:18 p.m. on November 30, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined the unknown suspect forced entry into two storage units. No items were reported stolen at the time of the report. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
