REPORTS

ROBBERY (late), 2023-08080056, Wilson Boulevard at N. Lynn Street. At approximately 8:57 a.m. on August 8, police were dispatched to the late report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 12:00 a.m. on August 4, the male victim was walking in the area when the two suspects approached from behind, pushed him to the ground, assaulted him and stole his personal belongings including cash, credit cards and a watch. The suspects then fled the scene on foot. Suspect One is described as a Black male wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans and a facial mask. There is no description for Suspect Two. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2023-08080066, 1800 block of Richmond Highway. At approximately 9:52 a.m. on August 8, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injury. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim and male suspect became involved in a verbal dispute, during which the suspect stole cash from the victim and injured him with a knife. The suspect then left the scene with two female subjects. The suspect is described as a Black male in his 30’s wearing a brown sweatshirt. The victim was treated on scene by medics for non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

RECKLESS HANDLING OF A FIREARM, 2023-08080243, 5100 block of 7th Road S. At approximately 11:37 p.m. on August 8, police were dispatched to the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, it was determined the suspect was inside his residence when he allegedly unintentionally discharged a firearm, causing damage to the interior of his home. No injuries were reported. The suspect remained on scene and the firearm was recovered. The investigation is ongoing.
