REPORTS

ASSAULT BY MOB, 2022-03210189, 3500 block of 2nd Street S. At approximately 3:47 p.m. on March 21, police were dispatched to the report of a large disorderly group of juveniles who appeared to be preparing to fight. Upon arrival, officers were approached by two juvenile victims who stated that they were physically assaulted by two juvenile subjects. Officers located the subjects in the area, detained them and determined one had sustained minor injuries consistent with being struck with BB gun pellets. All parties had minor injuries and declined the treatment of medics. The two juvenile subjects were released on scene to their guardians. The investigation is ongoing.

ASSAULT BY MOB, 2022-03210237, 1100 block of N. Barton Street. At approximately 4:55 p.m. on March 21, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injury. Upon arrival, it was determined that the three juvenile victims were walking in the area when they observed a group of approximately 25 juvenile males. The group then approached the victims and physically assaulted them. During the assault, a cell phone of one of the victims was stolen. The victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
