Concern for Missing Arlington Man

UPDATE (10/5/2022): Mr. Surur’s vehicle was located in the Shenandoah Valley on August 16, 2022. The missing persons investigation remains open and this time, there has been no evidence to indicate foul play. ARLINGTON, Va. – The Arlington County Police Department is seeking the public's assistance locating a missing Arlington man. Arefat Bekri Surur, 28, last had contact with his family on July 30, 2022.
Mr. Bekri Surur is described as a Black male, 5’6” tall, 135 pounds with black hair. He was last seen in the 1400 block of 28th Street S. and believed to have left the area in a 2016 silver Toyota bearing VA license plate UZS-6307, heading towards West Virginia.
Police and family are concerned for his health and welfare and he may be in need of medical services.
