REPORTS
ROBBERY (late), 2021-10090124, 1600 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 10:01 a.m. on October 9, police were dispatched to the late report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 8:00 a.m. on October 7, the male suspect entered the business and began placing merchandise into a shopping cart before proceeding to leave without paying for the items. An employee confronted the suspect and attempted to grab the shopping cart out of his hands. A brief struggle ensued and the suspect let go of the cart before leaving the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a Black male with a skinny build, 5’11” to 6’0” with short black hair, wearing a white face mask, gray long-sleeve sweatshirt, black pants and gray and white sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.
SEXUAL BATTERY (late), 2021-10090195, 5200 block of Yorktown Boulevard. At approximately 4:57 p.m. on October 9, officers were dispatched to the police station for the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 9:00 p.m. on October 8, the juvenile victim was walking in the area during the Homecoming Football Game when the unknown suspect inappropriately touched her. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
