REPORTS


MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2020-06270145, 1700 block of N. Troy Street. At approximately 6:53 p.m. on June 27, an officer was approached outside Police Headquarters in the 2000 block of 14th Street N. by an individual who had been stabbed multiple times. Officers immediately began to render aid to the victim until medics arrived and transported him to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The investigation determined that the victim was attending a social gathering when a verbal dispute between known individuals began to escalate. The victim attempted to intervene, however the suspect then allegedly produced a knife and struck the victim multiple times. The victim was able to run away from the gathering, where he then sought assistance from police nearby. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2020-06260173, 1100 block of Arlington Ridge Road. On June 26, the Telephone Reporting Unit spoke with a victim reporting a burglary. The victim stated that between June 25 at 8:00 p.m. and June 26 at 8:00 a.m., an unknown suspect gained entry to the victim's residence and stole her purse, containing items of value. The victim was subsequently alerted to unauthorized transactions on her credit cards. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2020-06270072, 5700 block of 9th Road S. At approximately 8:50 a.m. on June 27, police were dispatched to the late report of breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 11:30 p.m. on June 26, an unknown suspect gained entry to the victim's shed and residence and stole items of value. The suspect is described as an older White male, 30-50 years old, approximately 5'8"-5'11", slim build, with a shaved head, wearing a light colored collared shirt, dark pants, white and black sneakers, and glasses. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2020-06280046, 5000 block of Chesterfield Road. At approximately 4:30 a.m. on June 28,police were dispatched to the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 3:30 a.m., an unknown suspect enters an apartment building and forced entry to a secure office space inside. The suspect stole items of value from the office and fled prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a heavy-set male, wearing gray and white sneakers, sweatpants, a black hoodie with the hood up, a surgical mask and glasses. The investigation is ongoing.
