REPORTS
ROBBERY (late), 2020-07090253, 900 block of S. Wakefield Street. At approximately 9:13 p.m. on July 9, police were dispatched to the late report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 6:30 p.m., the victim entered the building to use the restroom when he was stopped by two suspects armed with a firearm and metal bar. Suspect One, displaying the firearm, demanded the victim's wallet and money. After determining the victim did not have any personal property on him, the suspects fled the scene in a silver van. Suspect One is described as a Hispanic male in his 50's, approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 250 — 300 lbs with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a gray short sleeve shirt and blue jeans. Suspect Two is described as a Hispanic male in his 50's, approximately 5'7" tall, weighing 250 lbs with short brown hair. He was wearing a light blue short sleeve button down shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
PEEPING (late), 2020-07090176, 2700 block of S. Veitch Street. At approximately 2:41 p.m. on July 9, police were dispatched to the late report of a peeping. Upon arrival, it was determined that on July 2 at approximately 10:30 p.m., the victim observed the unknown suspect attempting to climb over a balcony railing. Upon seeing the victim, the suspect left the scene. The suspect is described as a male with dark complexion, in his late 30's to early 40's, approximately 5'10" to 6'0" tall and 250 lbs. He was wearing black pants, black long sleeve shirt and a black mask at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
PEEPING (late), 2020-07090178, 2400 block of 27
th Court. At approximately 2:45 p.m. on July 9, police were dispatched to the late report of a peeping. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 12:26 a.m. on July 1, the witness observed the unknown suspect looking into windows of a residence. The suspect is described as a male with dark complexion, approximately 5'10" to 6'0" tall, weighing 215 — 230 lbs. He was wearing a long sleeve black shirt, black pants and black boots at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
