REPORTS

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2019-12300224, 900 block of S. Columbus Street. At approximately 10:30 p.m. on December 30, police were dispatched to the report of a fight. Upon arrival, it was determined that a verbal dispute between known individuals escalated and a physical altercation ensued, during which the suspect allegedly verbally threatened the victim and struck him with a glass bottle, causing lacerations. The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. Saruuljargal Jamiyan, 49, of Arlington, Va., was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2020-01010057, 1300 block of N. Nelson Street. At approximately 2:10 a.m. on January 1, police were dispatched to the report of an assault just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that a verbal dispute between known individuals escalated to a physical altercation, during which the suspect allegedly struck the victim with a glass bottle, causing lacerations. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2019-12300186, 2600 block of Richmond Highway. At approximately 6:06 p.m. on December 30, police were dispatched to the late report of breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that on December 27 at 3:00 a.m., two unknown suspects gained entry to a suite within a business, tampered with items and stole items of value. Suspect One is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, 130-150 lbs., 5'9"-6'0", wearing a black hat, black jacket, khaki pants, and carrying a black book bag. Suspect Two is described as a black male, 5'5"-5'8", 20-28 years old, wearing a black sweat suit, black shoes, black hat and carrying a black book bag. The investigation is ongoing.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2019-12300233, 900 block of S. Lincoln Street. At approximately 11:39 p.m. on December 31, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined that between December 9 and December 30, known parties entered an occupied residence without permission and items of value were reported stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
