REPORTS
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2020-02070101, 1100 block of N. Quincy Street. At approximately 10:32 a.m. on February 7, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 8:26 a.m., an unknown suspect gained entry to a business. An employee arrived at the business and located the suspect inside. The suspect was asked to leave multiple times before leaving prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid to late 20's, 5'10"-6'0", 180-200 lbs., with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a light blue striped shirt, a light green jacket, black shoes, black beanie and carrying a black backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY, 2020-02090029, 2300 block of N. Pershing Drive. At approximately 1:24 a.m. on February 9, police were dispatched to the report of a possible breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that two unknown suspects forced entry to a business, causing damage. Nothing was reported stolen from the business. The suspects are described as black males, 20-30 years old, approximately 5'8"-6'5", 150-200 lbs., wearing dark hoodies. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2020-02090219, 1200 block of S. Columbus Street. At approximately 9:28 p.m. on February 9, police were dispatched to the report of an assault just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was walking in the area, when he passed the group of suspects going the other direction. The suspects then came towards the victim, assaulted him, and attempted to steal his personal belongings unsuccessfully. The suspects are described as a group of 3-4 black males in their 20's. The investigation is ongoing.
