TRAFFIC ALERT: Columbia Pike Blues Festival Road Closures

ARLINGTON, Va. — The 24^th annual Columbia Pike Blues Festival will take place on Saturday, June 15^th, 2019. The Arlington County Police Department will close the following roadways from 7:00 AM until 10:00 PM to accommodate the event:

• Walter Reed Drive, from Columbia Pike to S. 9^th. Motorists can take S. 7^th Street westbound to Highland Street as a detour to access Columbia Pike.


• 9^th Road, from S. Garfield Street to Walter Reed Drive


• 9^th Street, from S. Highland Street to Walter Reed Drive

Additionally, motorists should be on the lookout for temporary "No Parking" signs in the area.  Illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed by the police department.  If your vehicle is towed from a public street, call the Emergency Communications Center at 703-558-2222.

The police department encourages the use of for-hire and ride share platforms to reduce traffic and parking congestion in the area.
