MEDIA ALERT: New Signage Unveiling at Long Bridge Park

In recognition of The Boeing Company's $10-million investment, Arlington County is unveiling the new Boeing Fields at Long Bridge Park signage at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Boeing's financial commitment and partnership with Arlington County and the Arlington Community Foundation will support maintenance and operational expenses. It will also provide access and programming for active duty military and their families at the future Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center. WHO: The ceremony will include remarks from Arlington County Board Chair Christian Dorsey, as well as Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg, celebrating this historic partnership and its positive impacts on the facility and the broader community. WHEN: Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1:30 p.m. WHERE: Plaza located at the pedestrian entrance to Long Bridge Park along Crystal Drive/12th Street. In the case of severe weather, the ceremony will be inside the Boeing building, 929 Long Bridge Drive.
