REPORTS


 

ROBBERY, 2019-03050090, 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 11:11 a.m. on March 5, police were dispatched to the report of a hold up alarm. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect entered a convenience store and allegedly concealed merchandise in his bag. When confronted, the suspect pushed a store employee to the ground and fled the scene. The suspect is described as a black male, 35-45 years old, 5'08 tall and weighing 200 lbs. He was wearing a black jacket, grey hoodie, black pants and carrying a blue bag at the time of the incident.

STOLEN VEHICLE (Significant), 2019-03050194, I-395 in the area of Exit 10A. At approximately 4:50 p.m. on March 5, an officer on routine patrol initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle reported stolen out of Fairfax County. Upon activation of the officer's emergency equipment, the suspect driver accelerated his vehicle away from the officer. The officer did not pursue the vehicle. The suspect driver struck multiple vehicles before crashing into the jersey wall and attempting to flee the scene on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into police custody. Petitions for Grand Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Eluding, Hit and Run, Obstruction of Justice, and No Driver's License were sought for the juvenile suspect.
