REPORTS

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2019-07190026, S. Glebe Road at Columbia Pike. At approximately 2:22 a.m. on July 19, police were dispatched to the report of an indecent exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was in her vehicle at a traffic light when the unknown male suspect allegedly approached her vehicle and exposed himself. Arriving officers located the suspect nearby and he was taken into custody. David Nichols, 39, of Arlington, Va., was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure, Drunk in Public and Failure to ID. He was held on no bond.

ROBBERY, 2019-07210001, 200 block of N. Trenton Street/200 block of S. George Mason Drive. At approximately 12:01 a.m. on July 21, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was walking in the area when he was approached by an unknown suspect who assaulted him, struck him with a hard object and threatened him, demanding his wallet. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash, discarded the wallet and fled on foot. The victim refused medical treatment. While investigating this incident, officers were dispatched to an additional armed robbery just occurred in the vicinity, in which the victim was walking in the area when an unknown suspect approached him from behind, threatened him and took the his phone from his pocket. The suspect then became dissatisfied, threw the phone on the ground and continued to threaten the victim, demanding his car keys. Two passerby then walked past, prompting the suspect to flee prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, approximately 5'11", wearing a white t-shirt and dark hat. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2019-07190130, 3300 block of Lee Highway. At approximately 11:44 a.m. on July 19, police were dispatched to the late report of breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 10:00 p.m. on July 18 and 11:00 a.m. on July 19, an unknown suspect(s) forced entry to a business, causing damage, tampered with items and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (series), 2019-07200087/07200104/07200106/07200138/07200156, 1500 block of N. Johnson Street/3100 block of Key Boulevard/3100 block of Key Boulevard/3100 block of 17^th Street N./1400 block of N. Hancock Street. At approximately 6:18 a.m. on July 20, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny from auto. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 11:00 p.m. on July 19 and 5:30 a.m. on July 20, two unknown suspects gained entry to approximately ten unlocked vehicles, tampered with items and stole items of value. Suspect One is described as a female, approximately 5'2"-5'8", with a slim build and long, dark hair. Suspect Two is described as being approximately 5'2"-5'8". The investigation is ongoing.
