REPORTS
MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY CAUSTIC AGENT (late), 2018-04140296, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 11:20 p.m. on April 14, police were dispatched to the late report of a malicious wounding. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 10:20 p.m., following a dispute between known individuals, the suspect sprayed the two victims with a caustic agent. The suspect subsequently brandished a knife before fleeing the area. Neither victim required medical treatment. Warrants for Malicious/Unlawful Wounding by Caustic Agent and Attempted Malicious/Unlawful Wounding were obtained for the suspect.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2018-04150131, 700 block of 23
rd Street S. At approximately 3:04 p.m. on April 15, police were dispatched to the report of an attempted robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim was walking towards the entrance of a building when the male suspect approached her, grabbed her hair and pulled at her purse. The suspect was unsuccessful in stealing the purse and fled the scene on foot. The victim did not require medical treatment. Based upon the suspect description provided by the victim, an arriving officer was able to locate the suspect nearby on a property he had previously been banned from. Steven George, 51, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery and Trespassing.
BURGLARY (late), 2018-04130081, Unit block of N. Fenwick Street. At approximately 9:00 a.m. on April 13, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 4:00 p.m. on April 12, an unknown suspect(s) entered a residence under construction and attempted to remove items of value. The items were located on the property damaged. The suspects are described as two males operating a silver truck. The investigation is ongoing.
RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE, 2018-04130112, 1300 block of N. George Mason Drive. At approximately 11:00 a.m. on April 13, an officer on routine patrol observed an individual behaving suspiciously walk around a vehicle stopped in a travel lane and then re-enter it. A subsequent check of the tag indicated the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Fairfax County earlier in the day. Jonathan Torres, 19, was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny: Motor Vehicle Theft, Possession of Schedule I/II Controlled Substance and Driving with a Suspended or Revoked License.
