TRAFFIC ALERT: 2017 Wags & Whiskers Event

ARLINGTON, Va. — The 2017 Wags and Whiskers event will be held in Shirlington on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The Arlington County Police Department will conduct the following road closures from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to accommodate this event:

  • Campbell Ave. will be closed from S. Quincy St. to the parking garage entrance in front of the Shirlington Harris Teeter.

  • S. Randolph St. will be closed from Arlington Mill Dr. to the alley just south of Campbell Ave.


Street parking in the area will be restricted. Motorists should be on the lookout for temporary "No Parking" signs. Illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed. If your vehicle is towed from a public street, call the Emergency Communication Center at 703-558-2222.
