REPORTS

LATE ROBBERY, 2017-05100204, 1000 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximatly 4:16 p.m. on May 10, officers responded to the late report of a theft that had occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined a male subject concealed merchandise and attempted to leave the store when an employee confronted him. The subject threatened the employee before fleeing the scene with the merchandise. The subject was described as a black male, approximately 35-45 years old, and was wearing a black baseball hat, black long sleeve shirt, and blue jeans. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (series) 2017-05100041, 1500 block of S. 11^th Street. At approximately 6:45 a.m. on May 10, officers responded to the report of a larceny from auto. Upon arrival, it was determined twenty five mostly unlocked vehicles had been entered and items of value were stolen.  The investigation is ongoing.
