REPORTS

BREAKING & ENTERING, 2017-03060276, 1300 block of Fort Myer Drive. At approximately 7:39 p.m. on March 6, officers responded to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown subject entered a female victim's residence. The female victim was in a bedroom at the time and heard noises originating from the kitchen. The victim believed the subject retrieved a knife from the kitchen as he made his way towards her location. The subject then tried to force his way into the bedroom but was unsuccessful in gaining entry. The subject fled the scene shortly after. A K9 track of the area returned with negative results. There is no suspect description other than he was wearing gray shoes at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
