REPORTS

ATTEMPTED MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 160306041, 5000 block of S. Columbia Pike. At approximately 3:21 p.m. on March 6, a male subject prevented a known female victim from leaving a restaurant. He struck her in the face several times and pulled a pocketknife out on her. Before leaving the restaurant, he slammed a chair against the floor. Carlos Leyva Betancourt, 44, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with attempted malicious wounding, abduction, assault & battery, destruction of property, and drunk in public. He is being held on no bond.

ATTEMPTED MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 160304057, 2300 block of N. 11^th Street. At approximately 10:00 p.m. on March 4, following a verbal altercation, a female subject was in possession of a knife and physically threatened a male victim. Annette Yvonne Westray, 44, of Arlington VA, was arrested and charged with attempted malicious wounding.

ROBBERY, 160304045, 3100 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 6:40 p.m. on March 4, a male subject attempted to steal personal hygiene products from a CVS. When the subject was confronted by an employee, he swung and charged at another employee. The subject fled the scene and all merchandise was recovered. The subject is described as a black male in his forties, approximately 5'7" tall and weighed 175 lbs. He was wearing a navy blue Nationals hat, navy blue jacket, green checkered button down, and blue jeans.

BURGLARY, 160306004, 4400 block of N. 4^th Street. At approximately 11:55 p.m. on March 5, a male subject forced entry into a known female victims residence and allegedly grabbed the victims arms. Brandon Matthew White, 26, of Alexandria VA, was arrested and charged with burglary, assault, destruction of property, trespassing, and drunk in public. He is being held on no bond.
