Lifesaving Medication Available at Arlington Public Library Branches

Opioid overdose reversal medication Naloxone, commonly known as NARCAN, is now available at all Arlington Public Library branches to help individuals experiencing an overdose due to prescription painkillers, heroin or fentanyl. Since January 2020 there have been 206 opioid overdoses in Arlington County, 60 of them fatal.
