REPORTS

BURGLARY (Late), 2022-07050147, 1700 block of Richmond Highway. At approximately 4:06 p.m. on July 5, police were dispatched to the late report of an attempted burglary. The investigation determined that at approximately 2:30 p.m. on July 1, the victim was inside a hotel room when he was awoken to noise at the door. Upon investigating, the victim observed the unknown suspect at the open door. The suspect fled on foot and the victim contacted security staff who canvassed the building for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male with dreadlocks. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (Late), 2022-07050127, 200 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 2:00 p.m. on July 5, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 3:14 a.m. on July 5, an unknown suspect entered the business, tampered with the cash register and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. There were no signs of forced entry. The suspect is described as a Black male, bald with a slim build. He was wearing a black hoodies, black sweatpants with a white stripe down the leg and light colored sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.
