BURGLARY, 2022-01260104, 5700 block of Washington Boulevard. At approximately 11:45 a.m. on January 26, police were dispatched to the report of a trespassing. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside her residence when she heard the known male suspect knock on the front door. As the victim opened the door, the suspect allegedly forced his way inside and grabbed the victim by the arm. She was able to safely exit the apartment before the suspect locked himself inside. Responding officers located the suspect and took him into custody without incident. Nathaniel Warren, 39, of Arlington Va., was arrested and charged with Burglary. He was held on a secured bond.
INDECENT EXPOSURE (late), 2022-01260107, 4500 block of 31st Street S. On January 26, an officer received a telephone message regarding the late report of an indecent exposure. Upon making contact with the victim, it was determined that at approximately 1:50 a.m. on January 24, the victim was walking in the area when the unknown male suspect approached her and began engaging in conversation. The suspect then exposed his genitals and began masturbating. The victim was able to safely leave the scene. The suspect is described as Black male with a slim build, approximately 5’5” – 5’8”, 30 – 40 years old, with long hair and a beard. The investigation is ongoing.
