REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2021-12200195, 3800 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 8:59 p.m. on December 20, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was walking in the area when he was approached by the two juvenile male suspects. Suspect One allegedly brandished a firearm and demanded the victim give them his belongings, while Suspect Two stole his backpack, cell phone, wallet and car keys. The two suspects then fled the scene on foot. A description of the suspects was broadcast and a short time later, officers located Suspect One in the area of S. George Mason Drive and Columbia Pike. During a search of his person incident to arrest, officers recovered the victim’s belongings, as well as a firearm. Petitions were obtained for the juvenile suspect. The second juvenile suspect remains outstanding. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2021-12200136, 5000 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 3:20 p.m. on December 20, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male victim was approached by the female suspect who allegedly produced a knife and demanded his money. The suspect struck the victim with the knife, causing a non-life threatening laceration which was treated on scene by medics. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash in a dark colored vehicle with three males. The suspect is described as a Black female, 5’08” tall with dreadlocks. She was wearing a green camouflage jacket and carrying a green backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
