REPORTS


ROBBERY, 2020-09150017, 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 2:05 a.m. on September 15, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect allegedly entered a business, approached the register, and requested merchandise from behind the counter. After the victim retrieved the merchandise, the suspect grabbed the item from his hand and stole a jar of change from the counter, then fled on foot prior to police arrival. A lookout was broadcast and officers canvasing the area located the suspect in the 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. He was positively identified and taken into custody without incident. Andre Romeo, 42, of Arlington, Va., was arrested and charged with Robbery, Petit Larceny: 3+ Offense, and Drunk in Public.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2020-09150003, 1400 block of N. Taft Street. At approximately 12:19 a.m. on September 15, police were dispatched to the report of an unlawful entry. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 2:00 p.m. on September 14, the victims returned to their residence and located the suspect on their porch. She subsequently left the property. At approximately 11:30 p.m. on September 14, the suspect allegedly returned and gained entry to the residence. The victims denied her entry, however she remained on the porch requesting entry. Arriving officers made contact with the suspect and took her into custody without incident. Sherrie Watkins, 55, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Entry.
