REPORTS


BURGLARY,  2020-10150030, 300 block of 23rd Street S. At approximately 5:34 a.m. on October 15, police were dispatched to the report of an alarm. Upon arrival, it was determined that at 5:32 a.m., an unknown suspect forced entry to a business and stole items of value and fled in a vehicle prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as wearing a dark grey sweatshirt, grey pants, white sneakers, dark gloves and a black mask. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2020-10150123, 1200 block of S. Joyce Street. At approximately 3:35 p.m. on October 15, police were dispatched to the report of trespassing. Upon arrival, it was determined that security observed the suspect on a bench in the area touching himself inappropriately. When confronted, the suspect denied his actions and fled on foot prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a White male, slim built, with brown, bushy hair, no shirt, and dark shorts. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY FROM AUTO/RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE, 2020-10150039, 3600 block of S. Taylor Street. At approximately 8:25 a.m. on October 15, police were dispatched to the report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, it was determined that suspect gained entry to the victim's vehicle, rummaged through items, and located the key to the victim's second vehicle. The suspect then stole the second vehicle. While on scene investigating, police were approached by a second victim, whose vehicle had been rummaged through, but nothing was reported stolen. During the course of the investigation, the stolen vehicle was recovered in the area of the 4900 block of 14th Street S. with items of value missing from the vehicle. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
