LARCENY FROM AUTO, 2020-11140063, 4400 block of 1st Street S. At approximately 4:00 a.m. on November 14, police were dispatched to the report of a vehicle tampering. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was alerted by a security camera to a person in his yard and subsequently observed the suspect allegedly enter multiple vehicles and steal items of value. The victim approached the suspect and stopped him from leaving the area until police arrival. Arriving officers took the suspect into custody without incident. During a search of the suspect's person, he was found to be in possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and wanted out of Fairfax County. Andrew Tomlin, 41, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny: Theft from Motor Vehicle 3+ Offense (x2), Vehicle Tampering (x2), and Possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance, and served with the outstanding warrant. He was held on a secured bond.

BURGLARY, 2020-11130028, 1800 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 5:54 a.m. on November 13, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 10:15 p.m. and 5:49 a.m., an unknown suspect(s) forced entry to a business, causing damage, and stole items of value. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2020-11130040, 1800 block of N. Oak Street. At approximately 6:17 a.m. on November 13, police were dispatched to the report of breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 1:19 a.m., two unknown suspects forced entry to a business, causing damage, and stole items of value. Suspect One is described as a male, heavyset, wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up, dark pants, and a white mask. Suspect Two is described as a male, wearing a light colored hoodie with the hood up, a black mask, a jacket over the hoodie, dark pants, and dark shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
