REPORTSASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT,
2020-04230133, 2000 block of N. Cleveland Street. At approximately 11:15 p.m. on April 23, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute at a location they had previously responded to earlier in the evening. Upon arrival, it was determined the intoxicated male subject had left the scene prior to police arrival. When he returned, he was detained by officers and the investigation ultimately determined no crime related to the dispute had occurred. Officers placed the male subject under arrest for public intoxication. While escorting the subject to the transport vehicle, he actively resisted and allegedly kicked an officer multiple times. The subject was transported to an area hospital for treatment of previously sustained injuries, where he threatened an officer and attempted to kick him. Adrian Jones, 33, of Arlington, Va., was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery on Police (x2), Obstruction of Justice, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Drunk in Public. He was held on no bond.BURGLARY,
2020-04230084, 1500 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 5:59 p.m. on April 23, police were dispatched to the late report of breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect(s) forced entry to a residential building, causing damage, and stole items of value from common areas. There is no suspect(s) description.
