The safety and security of fairgoers remains our top priority. As in years past, the fair will have dedicated police staffing and resources and fairgoers can expect to see a visible police presence.

The Arlington County Police Department wants you to enjoy all the attractions and entertainment the fair has to offer and asks that you help protect our community while doing so. If you See Something, Say Something® and encourage your friends, family and neighbors to do the same.
The Important Role You Play

There are no known threats to Arlington County, however, the public is encouraged to remain aware of your surroundings at all times. While we share everyday moments with our neighbors, family, coworkers, and friends, we all have routines that are uniquely our own making you most well-acquainted with what activities may be suspicious in your neighborhood and communities.

While remaining aware of your surroundings should be part of our everyday, there are areas where members of the public are encouraged to remain particularly vigilant. These areas include special events or activities in which large crowds of people typically gather such as shopping centers, restaurant districts, religious services, and public transportation hubs to name a few.
Report Suspicious Activity

Suspicious person(s), items, vehicles, and unattended packages should be reported immediately to police for investigation. Fairgoers can report information directly to police personnel stationed at the mobile command bus located on 2nd St. S., or by calling the Emergency Communication Center at 703-558-2222 or 9-1-1 in an emergency. Tips can also be reported online using the Homeland Security Tip Form.
