MEDIA PHOTO OPP: Installation of First Richmond Highway Street Sign

The Arlington County Transportation Division will install the first new sign on Richmond Highway in Crystal City. The event is expected to run approximately 1 hour. The remaining signs along the newly renamed road will be installed after Thursday's event. To keep the traffic impact minimal, it is expected to take a few days to complete the entire project.

What: Installation of first Richmond Highway street sign

When: Thursday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m. (Rain date: Friday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m.)

Where: Intersection of Richmond Hwy and 23rd St. S, by the Exxon (see picture below). Note: There will not be room on the median, so media can stand on sidewalks at the four corners of the intersection.

Who: Arlington County Board Chair Christian Dorsey
