REPORTS


ROBBERY, 2019-05060243, 300 block of N. George Mason Drive. At approximately 11:45 p.m. on May 6, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was walking in the area when he observed a large group of males, one of whom subsequently yelled at the victim to stop. The victim continued walking, but was then approached by the same suspect, who allegedly brandished a knife, assaulted the victim and demanded his personal belongings. The suspect stole the victim's cell phone, an undisclosed amount of cash and other belongings. A second suspect then approached the victim and threatened him. At this time, multiple additional suspects surrounded the victim, however, a witness approached the scene to aid the victim, which prompted the suspects to flee on foot. Arriving officers canvased the area and located a group of males matching the description in a lookout and detained them without incident. Jabari Johnson, 18, of Arlington, Va., was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery. Petitions were sought for Attempted Robbery for four additional juvenile suspects.

BURGLARY (late), 2019-05060088, 300 block of Long Bridge Drive. At approximately 11:26 a.m. on May 6, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 5:00 p.m. on May 5 and 9:20 a.m. on May 6, an unknown suspect(s) forced entry to a business and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2019-05060177, 1200 block of N. Herndon Street. At approximately 4:23 p.m. on May 6, police were dispatched to the late report of breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 11:00 p.m. on May 5 and 4:20 a.m. on May 6, an unknown suspect(s) gained entry to a residence and tampered with items inside and stole items of value. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
