REPORTS


MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY CAUSTIC AGENT, 2019-07290209, 2100 block of 15th Street N. At approximately 8:49 p.m. on July 29, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered a business and began browsing merchandise. An employee observed the suspect allegedly place items into his bag and confronted him. A brief struggle ensued and the suspect sprayed the employee with pepper spray, before fleeing prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a black male in his 20's, wearing a white t-shirt and blue overalls. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2019-07290213, 1200 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 9:30 p.m. on July 29, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that four suspects entered a business and each selected multiple items of merchandise and began to exit the business. Two employees attempted to stop the suspects from exiting, when one suspect brandished a metal object and threatened one of the employees. All four suspects fled prior to police arrival. Suspect One is described as a black female, 20-40 years old, average height and build, with straight black hair, wearing a gray skirt, white tank top, black sandals and carrying a tan bag. Suspect Two is described as a black female, 20-40 years old, average height with a slightly heavier build, with red braided hair and black glasses, wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, black shoes and carrying a pink purse. Suspect Three brandished the metal object and is described as a black female, 20-40 years old, average height and build, shoulder length black hair, wearing a light colored strapless dress, white sandals and carrying a light colored purse. Suspect Four is described as a black female, 20-40 years old, average height and build, with long black hair, wearing a white tank top, blue jeans, flats and carrying a white purse. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2019-07290234, 1100 block of S. Joyce Street. At approximately 10:23 p.m. on July 29, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just discovered. Upon arrival, it was determined that between July 26 at 6:00 a.m. and July 29 at 10:15 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) forced entry to a residence, tampered with items and stole numerous items of value and an undisclosed amount of cash. There are no suspect(s) description(s). The investigation is ongoing.
