INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2019-07130084, 1700 block of N. Lynn Street. At approximately 8:16 a.m. on July 13, police were dispatched to the report of a trespasser. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was attempting to enter a business when the male suspect allegedly confronted her outside the entrance, exposing his genitals and touching himself inappropriately. The male made inappropriate comments to the victim and spit on her. The male subsequently entered the business and was refusing to leave. Arriving officers located the male suspect inside of the business and took him into custody without incident. Donte Smith, 35, of Washington, D.C. was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure and Assault & Battery.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2019-07130250, S. Frederick Street at Columbia Pike. At approximately 10:40 p.m. on July 13, police were dispatched to the report of an assault just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was approached by a group of four male suspects who struck him in the back of the head with an object, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspects then began searching the victim's pockets with negative results and fled prior to police arrival without any of the victim's belongings. The suspects are described as four black males, all 16-18 years old, wearing shorts and colored shirts. The investigation is ongoing.
