ARLINGTON, Va. — On Tuesday, August 7th 2018, neighborhoods throughout Arlington County will join forces with communities across the country for the 35th celebration of National Night Out (NNO). NNO is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer through engagement and crime prevention awareness.

Between 5 P.M. and 9 P.M. on August 7, 2018, residents in neighborhoods throughout Arlington County and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend an evening outside with neighbors, police officers, firefighters and elected officials.  All events are hosted by neighborhoods, community groups or businesses.
