REPORTS


BURGLARY, 2018-07080101, 3100 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 10:23 a.m. on July 8, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim remotely observed a male suspect force entry to their business and steal items of value. After exiting the business, the suspect located a taxi and fled the area. During the course of the investigation, police were able to determine the identity of the driver of the taxi and make contact with him. The driver returned to the scene, but the suspect had exited the vehicle prior to the taxi's return to the scene. The suspect is described as a black male, 40-50 years old, approximately 5'10"-6'0", 150 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. The investigation is ongoing.
