TRAFFIC ALERT: 2017 Shirlington Oktoberfest

ARLINGTON, Va. — The Capitol City Brewing Company Oktoberfest is being held in the Village at Shirlington on Saturday, September 30, 2017. The Arlington County Police Department will conduct the following road closures from approximately 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM to accommodate the event:

  • Campbell Avenue, from Arlington Mill Drive to S. Quincy Street

  • S. Randolph Street, from Arlington Mill Drive to the alley behind PINK by Charlie Chang's (roughly the 3000 block)


Street parking in the area will be restricted. Motorists should be on the lookout for temporary "No Parking" signs. Illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed. If your vehicle is towed from a public street, call the Emergency Communication Center at 703-558-2222.

Additionally, vehicles will not be allowed to exit the covered Harris Teeter parking structure onto Campbell Ave. Drivers are reminded that traffic in the immediate area may be congested throughout the event, parking will be limited, and alternative modes of transportation are recommended.
