REPORTS

BURGLARY, 2017-01240158, 7000 block of Williamsburg Boulevard. At approximately 1:02 p.m. on January 24, officers responded to the report of an attempted burglary. A female victim heard a loud banging noise at her residence and witnessed an unknown male subject attempting to push open a window. The suspect then went to the back of the residence and entered the victim's screened in porch. Once the suspect observed the victim inside her residence, he fled the area on foot. Officers established a perimeter and a K9 search located a subject matching the description given by the victim. Johnnie Clay Jones, 60, of Springfield VA, was arrested and charged with burglary and possession of burglarious tools. He is being held without bond.
