ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2017-08150274, 1500 block of 16th Road N. At approximately 8:41 p.m. on August 15, police were dispatched to the report of an attempted robbery. The investigation determined that the female victim was walking in the area when she was passed by four males traveling on foot. As they passed one another, one of the males attempted to steal the victim's cell phone. The victim was able to break free and contact police. The victim was not injured. Responding officers canvased the area and located four subjects matching the victim's description. Antwon Jackson, 18, of Suitland, MD was arrested and charged with Attempted Robbery. Petitions were sought for two juvenile suspects.
