- Join County's executive leadership team to discuss process and priorities
Arlington County is kicking off its Fiscal Year 2019 Budget process with an earlier-than-ever-before series of roundtable discussions on budget priorities and challenges. The gatherings will bring together residents and the County's executive leadership team to explore funding priorities through a series of questions. The early input will help shape the County Manager's budget proposal for FY 2019.
Space is limited, so participants are asked to register for just one roundtable, to allow all who are interested to participate. The roundtables are scheduled in different locations around the County, and at different times of the day. See the dates and register online.
About Arlington's budget cycle
Arlington County's budget follows an annual cycle, with the fiscal year starting July 1 and ending June 30. The fiscal year budget serves as the annual operating plan.
The County Manager develops budget guidelines for operating departments for the upcoming fiscal year, based, in part, on revenue and expenditure estimates developed by the Department of Management and Finance. Learn more about the budget process
