Police Seek Public's Assistance in Identifying and Locating Susp

ARLINGTON, Va. — The Arlington County Police Department's Homicide/Robbery Unit, along with the FBI's Washington Field Office, is seeking the public's assistance in identifying an attempted bank robbery suspect captured in surveillance footage.

On Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at approximately 3:04 p.m., a male subject entered the BB&T bank located at 6745 Lee Highway in Arlington, Virginia and attempted to pass a note to the bank teller. The teller refused to accept the note and the suspect fled the scene on foot without receiving money.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 25-30 years old, 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He was described as wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark sunglasses, black athletic style pants, light colored sneakers, gloves, and a fake black beard.
