Crime Report: June 20, 2016

SEXUAL BATTERY, 160617042, 3600 block of S. Arlington Boulevard. At approximately 3:30 p.m. on June 17, a 16 year old female was walking in the area when a man approached her, reached up her dress and touched her inappropriately. The female victim yelled and the male subject fled the area on foot. The subject is described as a Hispanic male, in his 40s, approximately 5'4" with a thin build. He was described as wearing a white hat, white shirt and brown work pants.

ROBBERY BY FORCE, 160617060, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 9:04 p.m. on June 17, two female suspects assaulted a male victim as they were attempting to exit a retail store without paying for merchandise. The suspects fled the scene with the unpaid merchandise following the assault. The first suspect is described as a black female with dark complexion, long black curly hair, in her late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5'7" to 6'0", and approximately 200-225 pounds. She was described as wearing a multicolored nurse scrub top, blue bottoms and black croc sandals. Suspect two is described as a black female, scarf-mounted long black hair to the lower back, approximately 25-30 years old, 5'0" to 5'5", and approximately 100-120 pounds. She was described as wearing a pink or red top, black flip flops and brown leggings.

ASSAULT (LATE), 160618031, 1200 block of N. Hartford Street. At approximately 1:30 a.m. on June 18, a male victim attempted to converse with a female as she was walking down the street. The female ran to a nearby group of people and a verbal argument ensued. The argument became physical and the male victim was knocked to the ground. The group left the scene on foot. There are no suspect descriptions.

ASSAULT BY MOB, 160618045, 1400 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 9:24 p.m. on June 18, officers were dispatched to an assault in progress. The investigation revealed that following a verbal altercation over the victim bumping into a family member of the suspects, a physical altercation ensued. Arriving officers located one unresponsive female victim who was transported to Virginia Hospital Center in stable condition.  Dorris Fuller, 63, of Patterson NJ was charged with Assault by Mob and held on $1,000 secured bond. Najerhea Mitchell, 19, or Clinton MD was charged with Assault by Mob and held on $1,000 unsecured bond.

ROBBERY, 160619003, 100 block of N. Carlin Springs Road. At approximately 12:00 a.m. on June 19, officers were dispatched to Inova Alexandria Hospital for the report of a stabbing that occurred in Arlington County. The investigation revealed that two male victims were walking in the area when they were approached from behind by two male subjects who demanded money. When the victims refused, one of the suspects stabbed one of the victims in the back. The suspects fled the scene on foot. Both suspects are described as black males, heavy set, approximately 6'0", and wearing dark clothing. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBER BY FORCE, 160619047, 1200 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 10:05 p.m. on June 19, a male suspect grabbed money from an employee's hand. The suspect fled the area on foot but was restrained in the 1100 block of S. Hayes Street by employee's of the establishment. Quinton Newborn, 33, of No Fixed Address was charged with Robbery by Force and held without bond.
