MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 160710015, 5100 block of N. 22nd Street. At approximately 4:43 a.m., officers responded to Virginia Hospital Center for the report of a late assault. When on scene, it was determined that following a verbal argument, a physical altercation ensued and a male victim was punched several times in the face. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. Warrants are being obtained and the investigation is ongoing.

LATE SEXUAL ASSAULT, 160709042, 3700 block of S. 14th Street. At approximately 10:10 p.m. on July 9, an unknown male suspect approached a female victim from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his twenties, approximately 5'6" tall and weighed 130 lbs. He was wearing a white V-neck shirt, tan khaki pants, and white sneakers.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (series), 160710005, 2000 block of S. Pollard Street. Between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on July 9, an unknown subject(s) slashed tires on several vehicles in the area. There is no suspect(s) description.

MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED DWELLING, 160709007, 500 block of S. 23rd Street. At approximately 5:40 a.m. on July 9, officers responded to the report of a suspicious person. During the investigation it was determined that the subject attempted to gain entry into the victim's vehicle while the victim was inside the vehicle, but was unsuccessful. The subject then threw objects at the victim and the vehicle, damaging the vehicle. Elias Fethamlk, 34, of Alexandria VA, was arrested and charged with public intoxication, destruction of property, assault & battery, missile into occupied dwelling, and tampering with auto. He is being held on a secured bond.

MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED DWELLING, 160709006, 1300 block of N. Pierce Street. At approximately 5:15 a.m. on July 9, a known subject threw a large plastic object through the window of the victim's residence. Jose Francisco Galdamez, 33, of Springfield VA, was arrested and charged with destruction of property and missile into occupied dwelling.

BURGLARY, 160708009, 5000 block of S. Columbia Pike. At approximately 7:30 a.m. on July 8, a known male subject began to break a door to a females residence while threatening her. The female victim began hitting him with an object and called 911, causing the subject to flee. William Barksdale, 46, of Arlington VA, was arrested and charged with burglary and destruction of property. He is being held on no bond.
