The clinic is open from 3 to 5 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month.

Arlington teens who are concerned about pregnancy, STDs and birth control can receive free and confidential services at the Arlington Teen Health Clinic. There, public health nurses and doctors can provide pregnancy testing, as well as STD screening and treatment. In addition, teens can come to the center for birth control, emergency contraception pills and condoms. Under Virginia law, parental consent is not required for these services.

Public health nurses and doctors can also help teens in need of mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling or other public health services to find assistance.

As part of an ongoing effort to make the clinic accessible and welcoming for teenagers, Arlington is developing a Teen Clinic Advisory Board and hopes to offer classes about teen pregnancy, STDs, rape, depression and other teen public health issues in the future.
