Metro construction trucks on I-66 - Beginning the week of Oct. 20, rail project construction trucks will begin using I‐66 inside the Capital Beltway during restricted hours during the day and at night. Trucks will not be allowed on I‐66 when HOV restrictions are in place. Find out more.

Columbia Pike Eastbound Lane Reopens, Work to Continue During Off-Peak Hours - The eastbound curb lane of Columbia Pike at Quinn Street has been reopened. However, crews must continue restoration work on the utility lines over the next two weeks as part of the Gravity Three Water Main Project. During this time, there will be intermittent lane closures during off-peak hours (9:30am - 3:00pm). No more than one lane in each direction will be closed at a given time.

Improving Pedestrian Safety on Old Dominion Drive - DES is working with VDOT and local residents to improve pedestrian safety and address drainage issues along Old Dominion Drive. Construction on Phase I is slated to begin in May 2009. Learn more.
