Biking Group

Tai Chi with Take-San - Try a Free Demo

Tai chi is a slow, graceful exercise that will improve balance, strengthen the body and enhance range of motion. It is derived from Chinese martial arts. Instructor Takeshi Toma, "Take-San," will teach tai chi in the "Simplified Yang Style" at both Culpepper Garden and Walter Reed. These are beginner classes with no experience necessary. Try the following demo sessions and class series:

Class series at Culpepper Garden: Mondays and Wednesdays, March 14 - July 13, 1 - 2 p.m. (No class May 4, 9, 11, 30). $112/ 28 classes, # 910210-N. Register online or call the center, 703-228-4403.
