Join in on some enjoyable rides and great socializing! The 55+ Biking Group has planned several rides for the spring. If you are interested in participating, put your name on the email list for ride updates by calling 703-228-4771 or emailing 55plusbikinggroup@arlingtonva.us.
Tai chi is a slow, graceful exercise that will improve balance, strengthen the body and enhance range of motion. It is derived from Chinese martial arts. Instructor Takeshi Toma, "Take-San," will teach tai chi in the "Simplified Yang Style" at both Culpepper Garden and Walter Reed. These are beginner classes with no experience necessary. Try the following demo sessions and class series:
