Arlington Employment Center Helps Employers and Job Seekers

AEC helps Washington area employers in their recruitment efforts, as well as assisting job seekers with their search. AEC administers federal, state, and local employment and training programs, and serves a variety of skill levels. The Center can provide referral of qualified job candidates, job postings, and facilities for recruitment events. AEC services are free to employers and  job seekers.

  Seasonal Openings:  Opportunities for temporary summer employment with the Arlington County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources include work as Camp Counselors, Leaders and Aides in playgrounds, day camps, a resident camp, therapeutic camps, sports camps, environmental nature camps, tot camps and programs at recreation centers, schools and parks throughout the County.  Deadline for summer work applications is normally in April of each year.
