The Other Sports Show is a public access TV show highlighting local sports and activities of an athletic nature.  Arthritis Foundation, Mid Atlantic Region 
The Arthritis Foundation is the only national not for profit that supports the more than 100 types of arthritis and related conditions. Our mission is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases.

Championing Health And Wellness in Kids (CHAWK) is a group of parents at Ashlawn Elementary School in Arlington, Va., seeking to ensure, through a variety of ways, that children's health and wellness is a central focus of the school day. In our work, we draw heavily from research, which shows that healthy children are better learners, score higher marks on tests, exhibit fewer behavioral problems in the classroom, and are, in general, more relaxed.
   
Crystal City Crystal City Business Improvement District
Established in Spring of 2006, the Crystal City BID is a public-private partnership between commercial businesses located within the BID district and Arlington County. The organization includes an array of restaurants, retail stores, hotels, small businesses, commercial property owners, tenants and residential apartment buildings. The BID's goal is to provide a higher level of service to visitors, workers and residents in Crystal City making it a world-class destination in both Arlington and the greater DC region. The BID has also sponsored FitArlington related events including Crystal Rides and Crystal Rolls.
   
  GW Athletics
The George Washington University Department of Athletics and Recreation is an organization comprised of 22 NCAA sports that serves over 450 student athletes as well as countless other staff and faculty at the George Washington University. We host several clinics and sport day events for the public.
   
 

Greenbrier Learning Center
The Greenbrier Learning Center's (GBLC) mission is to promote education, youth leadership and strong families through structured enrichment programs beyond the school day. Utilizing a community-driven approach, we foster academic achievement and personal growth among our after-school students, act as a resource for youth and adults, and increase collaboration among service providers in northern Virginia.

 Weigh To Give
Provides a way to support the Foundation for Caregivers and your favorite charity, through sponsorship from friends and family, to shed unwanted pounds. This can be done as a team effort, as an individual effort or as a fundraiser for a non-profit group. There is a $15 fee to register.

Baby Boot Camp is a nationwide stroller based fitness program that includes resistance training and cardio intervals to target all major muscle groups. Mat work focuses on abdominal and core strengthening. Appropriate for pre & post natal moms who can bring their stroller age infant or child along for the fun. Activities outside of class are planned in order to build relationships and support networks for moms.

 Arlington Triathlon Club
A school based triathlon training program for Arlington Public School students that teaches fitness, nutrition and fun. The Arlington Triathlon Club (ATC) trains for biking and running on Monday and Wednesday and swimming on Saturday mornings. This program is free after a $5 membership fee. BikeArlington is an Arlington County initiative to build on an existing partnership between Arlington citizens, businesses and County staff to encourage more people to bike more often.
   
Capital Hiking Club Capital Hiking Club
The Capital Hiking Club is a non-profit, all volunteer hiking club. the club runs hikes every Saturday covering trails in Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Hikes include bus pick-ups from Rosslyn.

 Marine Corps Marathon Kid's Run
Voted “Best Marathon for Families," the Marine Corps Marathon continues a combined tradition of dedication, sportsmanship and patriotism. Runners from all walks of life have participated in the world’s largest marathon to not offer prize money, deservingly earning the nickname “The People’s Marathon.” The Kid's Run invites children ages 6-13 to participate in the one-mile just-for-fun event.

The ROA-US FreedomWalk Festival® is an international three-day, non-competitive social walking festival with 11 different trails around Arlington and Washington, DC.

These two events are a perfect combination for young professionals who live or work in or around Arlington.

ACTA provides low cost organized tennis to the Arlington community. Participate in coed doubles leagues and ladders for coed singles, ladies singles, and mixed doubles. ACTA also sponsors several social events, a mixed doubles tournament, and a charity tournament each year.

Providing physically active and achieving women, age fifty years and over, opportunities to have fun, keep fit, develop lasting friendships, and compete at the highest level while playing 3 on 3 half-court basketball. Our players range in age from 50-86 and live in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. We train and play once a week. Players have opportunities to play on teams and compete in local and out-of-town 3 on 3 tournaments in their age group.
