Our mission is to maintain Arlington's list of registered voters and conduct elections in a fair, accurate and equitable manner.

2012 Elections

March 6, 2012: Republican Presidential Primary Election

March 27 2012: Special Election for County Board to fill unexpired term for former member Barbara Favola, who was elected to the Virginia Senate on Nov. 8, 2011. 

June 12, 2012: Primary for other offices on the November ballot, if called for. Includes U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, or County Board. As of this date, both parties have called primaries for U.S. Senate. We'll know more about the other offices in early 2012. (Note: This primary may be postponed until August because of Congressional redistricting issues.)

November 6, 2012: General Election for the electors for President and Vice President and for the offices of U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, County Board, and School Board (two seats). The ballot may also include a Special Election for state and local questions.
