Attention recipients of payments from the Arlington County Employees’ Retirement System:
1099-R tax forms will be mailed by January 31, 2014. Please allow two weeks for your form to reach you. If you have not received your 1099-R by February 14, 2014, please email the Human Resources Department or call us at 703-228-3500 or 1-800-818-4910, Option 1.
(Please note: Retirees receiving a service connected disability allowance do not receive 1099-Rs because their income is non-taxable.)
A new tool is now available through Web Member Services that will allow you to run your own estimates of your retirement benefit based on your years of service with the County. Using this tool you can see the different amounts that you can expect depending on the date of your retirement. To access the site you will need to set up an account.
