Hours of Operation: Transit Options (within 1/4 mi): Features:           Meeting rooms (50-70 person capacity), multi-purpose rooms (25-120 person capacity), game room, gymnasium, accessible school-age playground, picnic area (no grills), basketball court, tennis courts w/ lights (outdoor), public restrooms, water fountain, vending machines (snack/beverage), wireless internet access.  I'm A GREEN Building! The Walter Reed Community Center is designed to meet the LEED silver standard and features storm water management elements such as an 18,000 green roof which captures rainwater that falls on the roof. The roof is a pitched roof and is visible from the ground level. Biorentention areas border the parking lot capturing much of the runoff and allowing it to infiltrate. Materials used in the building include wheat board, bamboo, cork, and other recycled or sustainable products. Daylight is also used to light many of the rooms. Madison Adult Day Health Care Center at WR A program of services and activities to help adults with functional limitations maintain or enhance their independence in order to remain in the community as long as possible.
