| Hours of OperationSunday: Closed Fairlington Community Center Façade Restoration - Summer 2013The Department of Environmental Services (DES) will be conducting a façade restoration effort at Fairlington Community Center beginning Monday, June 3. As part of the project, crews will repair damaged brickwork, cracked mortar joints, cracked concrete assemblies around doors and windows. This will be followed by a power washing and applying a sealer to the brickwork. Several building entrances will be remain open and be outfitted with overhead protection from debris and dust. A few entrances will be closed and marked with signage. Patrons inside the building may also hear intermittent construction noise during the project. All programs will continue as scheduled. The project is expected to take three months to complete. DES is focused on ensuring the safety of our crews and the community during this project. Please bring your own lock and remove it when you leave the center.
